The Boss had much to say regarding the "brawl" and subsequent suspensions from Sunday's Final... He said he believes tha English FA's process on such matters is basically dishonest as they routinely paint such matters with a broad brush and do not closely review each players role. He also apologized for Arsenal's role in the ruckus and said he hoped 2 minutes of ugliness will not be the lasting memory of what was indeed a fantastic Cup Final. Enough with that...
As mentioned we travel to Blackburn today for the FA Cup 5th round replay... problem is, we could be without as much as 10 first team players, said Boss, Arsene Wengers view:
“There are plenty of changes but it will still be a strong team,” the Frenchman told Arsenal.com on Tuesday. “We have lots of injuries. We don’t have Adebayor (suspended), Thierry Henry (foot) and Tomas Rosicky (groin). At Cardiff on Sunday we also lost Abou Diaby through an ankle injury and Kolo Toure who was sent off. Fabregas will be rested as well.” The injuries don’t end there. Justin Hoyte is troubled by a hamstring strain picked up at the Millennium Stadium, Johan Djourou is struggling with an ankle complaint while Mathieu Flamini is doubtful with a foot problem. Robin van Persie will definitely miss the game of course. His prognosis is still anything between four and eight weeks because of the broken metatarsal he suffered against Manchester United on January 21".
It is fair to say that even with the kiddos on the pitch we have a good shot at going through... we shall see. In case you are home "sick" today, the match is live at 2pm CST on Fox Soccer.
I must admit I feel remiss with regards to the fact that I have not dedicated some time to the Anna Nicole Smith matter... ok then, that about wraps it up.
Take care.
