And yes I am still sober and my health is good, considering. Just been lazy and preoccupied with other volumes in the library called life!
Anyhoo, enough grovelling. I am reading Denis Johnson's (Vietnam war) epic Tree of Smoke and it is indeed an epic and indeed worthy of his Pulitzer! A very new take on a much covered era.
The new Dillinger 4 album has yet to leave my CD playing device and if you have not begged, borrowed or stolen it yet... shame on ya. EMAIL ME AND I WILL BURN YOU A COPY AND SNAIL IT TO YOU ALONG WITH LITTLE MESSAGES OF HOPE AND MAYBE SOME FAST FOOD SALT AND PEPPER PACKETS!
